The committee will be at the venue from 6:30am Sunday. Our first order of business will be to make a decision about racing and the weather. Please check the club website at 6:30 for the most up to date info. Alternatively, call Dave Wighton on 0422 058 507.
As in years gone by, all riders (or an adult proxy for juniors) will be asked to assist the running of events throughout the year by doing some form of volunteer duty (commonly, as a corner marshal). This year with the trialling of fortnightly Tuesday and Saturday criteriums (bringing the race calendar to a very full 59 club events and 6 days of open racing) it will need to be 2 duty races per rider. At Lake Weyba, please have 2 or 3 dates in mind of when you will be available to assist in this way. The calendar is already published so you have a chance to plan ahead. If you are a climber, you may wish to volunteer at criteriums, while sprinters may wish to volunteer at a hilly venue. Please also have a contact number and email address available to give to the duty co-ordinator to ensure this process runs smoothly.
Club event entry this season will be $10 per event ($5 juniors).
Have a look at this photo, then be sure to wear your race number correctly. #3 is leading and either #30, 36 or 38 is in second place.
